agree with previous comments...mike's current colored jeans, fluorescent sleeveless tee get-ups just don't do it like the neon yellow button up with matching pants.
this interview is in the middle of grunge...everyone else is wearing holey jeans and bitching about their parents and phish is singing about col. forbin and the land of lizards. classic. and is there any chance that, if phish were coming up today, mtv would interview them? i think not.

Takeaways:
1. They know that we'd know if they were resting on their laurels.
2. They know we're obsessed.
3. Do not try to troll Trey by opining that the Spin Doctors sound like the Grateful Dead. He knows they do not, even though fans of both bands wear tie-dye.
