The Blog returns for its weekly self-flagellation... a/k/a Mystery Jam Monday. Just like every week, we will be playing for an MP3 download courtesy of our friends at LivePhish.com / Nugs.Net. The rules haven't changed: you need to correctly identify the song and the date to win. Post your guess in the comments. One guess per person per day (with the second “day” starting after I post the hint). The hint will come on Tuesday and the answer will be posted on Wednesday. Good luck...

RabeldyNugs I gotta agree with 'Flansolo' with the 46 Days 8/15/09 from MPP bc of Trey's lick @ 2:33 here but just in case it's not I say:

BDTNL 8-18-10

At 1st it did sound like a limb jam but then it just changed to something a little newer with Trey's licks and Fishman's beats...idk....could be a light...could be limb....I guess that's why it's called a mystery jam. Good one blog!!

nematode man wish i had checked earlier it's totally the 46 days from mpp 2009/08/15. was present at this show, looking back on it this was really the only gem in what i see now as a mediocre show. and the oh! sweet nuthin, that was tight too.

Pauly - there are manymanymanymany 3.0 jams that sound like "Light." I'm pretty sure that in a few year's we'll just call that a "2010 Jam" (similar to how a lot of people call the funk James Brown-esque thing Treys plays a lot the "Summer '98 Lick" ;)

100% certain this is the MPP 46 Days from 2009. I find myself listening to this jam almost every month. Up there with Dec 2009 MSG Light as jam of the year in my book. Below average show, but this was terrific.
